The Main Project Table consists of the following conventional parts:

Toolbar. Contains shortcuts to the most frequently used functions of the program:

- Create a new project

- Open an existing project

- Save current project

- Set project options

- Edit categories list

- Edit statuses list

Using Status Filter you can select what links to display in the Project Table according to their statuses.

Project Controls

Contains shortcuts to the most frequently used project functions:

Find New Partners - Launches Find New Partners Wizard

Add Link - Opens Add Web Site dialog, allowing you to add new existing/potential partner link to the project and provide all necessary information on it

Remove Link - Allows removing the selected link from the project

Check link status - Launches link status check (whether the partner page, containing a link to your site still exists)

Check link back - The program will check whether the partner link page is available on partner site.

Project Table. Displays all project links in a table form.

In the Project Table the following information on every link is displayed:

• URL - the address of your partner
• Title - the title of the partner site or page
• - information whether the partner site contains link back to your site. You can manually set this parameter by clicking on this field and selecting an appropriate item from the drop-down menu
• Status - status of every link in the program. When searching for new potential partners with Find New Partners Wizard you can automatically assign certain status to every link found on search engines. You can also select status for each link in the table manually by clicking on this field and selecting an appropriate item from the drop-down menu. The default status is Undecided. There are also following statuses used in the program:
  • Undecided (default status)
  • The link request mail has not been sent yet
  • Waiting for answer to link request mail
  • Web site links back
  • Web site wants to link back
  • Web site doesn't want to link back
  • Web site wants to be asked later again
  • Web site's reciprocal link doesn't work anymore
  • Web site is down
  • Web site belongs to competitors
  • Web site is not relevant
  You can add and edit new statuses by selecting Project>Edit Status List in the program Main Menu or clicking on the Toolbar. The status of the link automatically changes to "Waiting for answer to link request mail" after sending an exchange request.
• E-mail - the contact e-mail address of the owner of the site. You can change it by clicking the field and typing in the correct address.
• Check status - status of the last partner link check. You can check whether the partner site is available by clicking Check link status on the Project Controls. There are two check statuses - Good and Broken.
• - information whether there is a link to your partner on your site. You can manually change status for every link by clicking on this field and selecting an appropriate item from the drop-down menu. The value of this field automatically changes to Yes after you upload your own partner page with FTP module.
• Category - the category, to which the given site belongs. The values are arbitrary, but we do recommend that each site should be placed into an appropriate category, since categories are rendered as topics of the partner sites in your e-mails. You can add and edit categories by selecting Project>Edit categories in the Main Menu, or pressing on the Project Controls. There is one default category in the program - General.
• Notes - here you can type any comments on the link
• Rank - when analyzing a partner site on the last step of the Find New Partners Wizard the program queries search engines for site rank. You may also assign your own rank to a site in this field.
